The purpose of this document is to provide open information about what personal data we obtain, how we deal with them, how we use them, for which purposes we use them, who we can provide them, how long they are stored, and what are the individual rights of clients data protection.

Personal data of clients are collected, processed and / or used only if the client has allowed them by filling in and sending the query to a question from the website, filling in and sending a binding application (by post or by electronic means) or by adhering to the relevant legislation.
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is the consent of the data subject for the purpose of making the cruise reservation and the relevant services, adhering to the legal obligation (in particular Act No. 431/2002 Coll. on Accounting, Act No. 39/2015 Coll. on Insurance), the signing of an insurance contract, the legitimate interest in protecting the rights and legally protected interests of JL Navigátor and the comprehensive protection and enhancement of the client´s comfort (the purpose of offering products and services and providing information within direct marketing).

JL Navigátor transfers personal data to government authorities when this obligation is set by law (e.g., audit of the accounting agenda) and, if necessary, for the protection of the rights of the controller (e.g. in the recovery of the sum owed by the court). JL Navigátor may entrust the processing of data to a third person, processor. Processing is possible only on the basis of a contract that binds the processor to the same level of data protection as the controller provides. Data may also be forwarded to suppliers providing JL Navigátor services, such as software installation and accounting services. With the consent of the client or his order, personal data can also be provided to other persons.
Storage period of personal data
JL Navigátor is authorized to process the personal data of the data subject for the time necessary to achieve the purpose of processing for at least 5 years from the end of the cruise, stay in hotel or flight, respectively for the period stipulated by Act No. 431/2002 Coll. on Accounting. The processing of personal data in the case of consent is only possible for the period for which the consent was granted.
JL Navigátor does not profile its clients.

The rights of the person concerned are specified in Articles 15 to 21 of the Regulation. Data subject shall exercise those rights in accordance with the Regulation and other relevant legislation. Data subject may exercise his rights by written request or by electronic means.
In cases where JL Navigátor processes personal data based on the client´s consent, the client may withdraw the consent at any time. In cases where data is processed under a legitimate interest, the client may object to such processing. We also evaluate each complaint and report the result to the client. Our objections to data processing for marketing purposes will always be met.
If you have not been able to resolve your privacy issues or complaints satisfactorily, you have the right to contact the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 7, www.dataprotection.gov.sk.
The client or visitor to JL Navigátor has the option of contacting us at any time by calling +421 911 926 545, +421 917 076 702 or by emailing email@example.com to get answers to any questions about personal data.
Do I have to provide the operator with personal data?
The provision of personal data is, as well as the conclusion of a contract or other business relationship with the controller, voluntary. However, some data are necessary to meet legal obligations (such as keeping an accounting agenda) or are necessary to provide a service, and without some data the controller can not provide the required service. Personal data that the controller would collect and process for purposes other than those mentioned above are always subject to the specific consent of the client or visitor to the JL Navigátor website. If the client or site visitor does not provide us with such consent, we will not collect and process personal information for any other purpose than the above.
How does the operator ensure personal data protection?
Personal data are subject to permanent physical, electronic and procedural control, and JL Navigátor has up-to-date control, technical and security mechanisms to ensure the maximum possible protection of processed data against unauthorized access or transfer, loss or destruction, and other possible misuse. Any person who comes into contact with the personal data of a client during the performance of his / her work or contract obligations is bound by a statutory or contractual obligation of confidentiality.
From what sources does JL Navigator acquire personal information?
We process the information you provided to us for the purpose of providing the services of the controller. We further process the data you provided when sending a question from a website. We use the personal data we collect to answer your request only. We may also process additional data, such as Internet browsers, Satisfaction Surveys, and User Testing, based on your special permission or customization permissions.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that can be sent to your browser when visiting a website and stored on your device (your computer or another device with internet access, such as a smartphone or tablet). Cookies are stored in the browser´s folder. Cookies usually contain the name of the web site they come from, the validity and value. On the next visit, the web browser reloads cookies and sends this information back to the website that originally created the cookie. The cookies we use do not harm your computer.

How can I change cookie settings?
Under Section 15 of the Electronic Media Act, you may not agree to storing your anonymized data as a website visitor. So your visit will not be recorded in the future. You can set up cookies that you use on your site in your web browser. Most Internet browsers are pre-set to automatically accept cookies. You can change this setting by blocking cookies or alerting when cookies are sent to your browser / device. You can find instructions for changing cookies in help section of each browser. If you use different devices to access pages (like a computer, smartphone, tablet), we recommend that each browser adjust your cookie preferences on each device. We will respect if you change the pre-set cookie setting. However, disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our website.

We collect and store data on our site using the tracking tool for marketing and optimization purposes. Our site uses Google Analytics, a service from Google inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "Cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that allow you to analyze your use. Information about your use of the cookie-generated page will generally be transferred to Google´s US server and stored there. However, your Google IP address (within the European Union Member States or other Contracting States of the European Economic Area Agreement) is abbreviated (anonymous). This will shorten IP addresses obtained with Google Analytics. This is to prevent Google from combining IP addresses with personal data. Only in exceptional cases a full IP address will be transferred to Google´s US server, which will be shortened there. Upon the operator of this site, Google will use this information to evaluate the use of the site for the purpose of conducting activity reports on the site and to provide additional services to the operator associated with the use of the site and the Internet. The IP address in the browser does not interact with other Google data in Google Analytics.
Without your explicit consent, we will not use tracking tools to collect your personal information without your knowledge, share this information with third parties and marketing platforms or link this data to your personal data (name, address, etc.).
